Accountability and updates
Corrections Policy
Accuracy matters more than speed. When we make a factual mistake or publish information that becomes outdated, we update the page and correct the record as clearly as we can.
Correction Requests
How To Report an Error
If you spot a factual issue, email info@lineup11.pro with the page URL, the point you believe is incorrect, and any supporting source that helps verify the correction.
Specific reports are the easiest to review quickly, especially on fast-moving tournament pages. We prioritize reports involving dates, kickoff times, venues, squads, injuries, ticketing, streaming access, and factual claims about people or organizations.
What We Correct
- Incorrect names, dates, times, venues, teams, or tournament details.
- Broken or misleading explanatory text that changes the meaning of a page.
- Material omissions when a page creates the wrong impression for readers.
How Updates Are Handled
Minor fixes such as spelling, formatting, or link repairs may be made without a special editor note.
Material corrections and major information changes may be reflected through updated timestamps, revised copy, or additional clarification within the article or page.
Our goal is to review credible correction requests as promptly as possible. Time-sensitive tournament errors are prioritized ahead of routine copy edits.
Correction Notes
When an error materially changes the meaning of a page, we may add context inside the page rather than silently changing the copy.
When a page is simply updated because new verified information became available, we may treat that as a normal update rather than a correction.
Response Timeline
We aim to acknowledge credible correction requests within 24 hours during active tournament periods and within 48 hours during off-tournament periods.
Material factual errors on high-traffic pages — particularly match schedules, kickoff times, venue details, and streaming access — are treated as urgent and prioritized for same-day review when possible.
Correction Classification
- Minor correction: Typo, formatting error, broken link, or minor wording adjustment that does not change the factual meaning of the page.
- Material correction: A factual error involving dates, times, venues, teams, scores, squad data, or claims about people or organizations. These corrections are reflected with an updated timestamp.
- Retraction: In rare cases where a page contains a fundamental error that cannot be corrected in place, we may retract the page with an explanation and redirect readers to accurate coverage.
Escalation Process
If you believe a correction request has not been addressed adequately, you may escalate by replying to the original email thread with additional supporting evidence or context.
Unresolved disputes about factual accuracy are reviewed by a senior editor who was not involved in the original publication decision.
Ongoing Coverage
Some tournament information changes quickly, including squad status, streaming access, tickets, and kickoff details. In those cases, we may revise pages repeatedly as new verified information becomes available.
Our goal is not only to correct mistakes but also to keep practical pages current enough to remain useful.
